With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, I’ve built a career grounded in hands-on expertise, solid project management, and a deep passion for quality craftsmanship.

My journey began with a carpentry apprenticeship at a small high-end building firm in Oxford. Being part of a tight-knit team gave me a unique opportunity to learn far beyond carpentry. I gained firsthand experience in every phase of residential construction—from laying foundations and installing drainage systems to building walls, fitting roofs, and finishing interiors with kitchens and bathrooms. This holistic understanding of the building process became the foundation of my career.

I later stepped into the commercial side of the industry, working as a contract manager for a major drylining firm operating across the Thames Valley and southern counties. This role sharpened my skills in project management, commercial decision-making, and large-scale coordination—valuable experience that broadened my perspective and strengthened my leadership capabilities.

Despite the success in the commercial sector, my passion always pulled me back to more hands-on, design-focused residential work. That passion led me to start my own design and build company in Oxfordshire. We offered a complete turnkey service, guiding clients from concept and planning right through to build and completion. The company grew into a respected name in residential construction and continues to thrive today.

I eventually chose to sell the business to return to what I love most: being directly involved on site, working closely with clients, and delivering high-quality, thoughtfully executed builds. Today, I bring personal attention and craftsmanship to every project I take on—combining decades of experience with a dedication to doing the job right.
